Record any emotions before and after eating. Record the exercise you do in your diary also. 2)Drink plenty of water as this will help to flush out toxins. 3)Decide on your goal dress size, find a picture of yourself or a celebrity at your desired size to use as a visualisation tool. Keep this in mind as you listen to your recording.
4)Listen to Tansy's weightloss recordings on you tube recording every day or five times a week minimum which will create new and permanent patterns in your subconscious that will change your behaviour. Do this until you get to your desired size and then two or three times a week to maintain your goal shape 5)Eat healthily and in moderation, put small and sensible portions on to your plate. Eat three meals a day. Include plenty of fruit and vegetables, wholegrain carbs, limit sugary food and fats. When eating out make healthy choices (unless its treat meal or item – see point 6). When it comes to alcohol keep it to a minimum (14 units per week) and drink slowly. 6)If you fancy something (on occasion) that ordinarily would not be allowed on a diet you may have it but in a moderate amount once a week as either a treat meal or item. Make sure you don’t miss out this step and enjoy and savour the experience. 7)Eat slowly and mindfully, chew each bite ten or twelve times, pay attention to how the food makes you feel physically and emotionally. Carve out a calm quiet time for eating without distractions such as TV or phone. Sit down and give your full attention to the food (and your company!) take in the colours aromas and textures before you eat. 8) Only snack if you are genuinely hungry, change your mind set from ‘I’d like a snack’ to ‘I don’t need one so I will wait’. So there may be an impulse to snack but the connection between impulse and action is not made. If you choose to have a snack when hungry make sure it is something healthy. 9)Embrace regular exercise and make it part of your daily life – it can be brisk walking, yoga, swimming or whatever you enjoy, note down what you have done in your food diary. 10)Put away your bathroom scales and if possible, ditch them altogether putting all thoughts of dieting out of your mind. If you overeat don’t beat yourself up, just get back on track as soon as possible. Have faith.
